Position Description

The University of South Alabama’s Department of Philosophy invites applications for a full-time (9-months), tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin on August 15, 2024. ABD candidates will be considered, but an earned Ph.D. in Philosophy or closely related field is required at the time of the appointment. Area of Specialization: Value Theory, broadly construed so as to include, e.g., Ethics, Political Theory, Applied Epistemology, or PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics). Area of Competency: Open.
