Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania to conduct research in experimental particle physics with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The successful candidate should have a PhD in experimental particle physics, have a strong interest in leading searches for physics beyond the standard model, and be highly motivated to work on the ATLAS trigger system for the HL-LHC. Experience with FPGAs and/or machine learning is desired but not required for these projects. There are also additional opportunities to get involved with the exceptional Penn electronics and instrumentation group.

Review of applications will begin on the 15th of December 2023 and will continue until the position is filled.
