Position Description
Prof. Vibha Kalra’s research group at Cornell University (Ithaca, NY, USA) is seeking applicants for two postdoctoral associate positions on “Next Generation Batteries”. The project(s) will involve material development for next generation batteries, advanced electrochemical, spectroscopic, and microscopic characterizations (including in-situ/in-operando) and battery recycling. An ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: in-situ/in-operando characterizations, solid electrolytes, metal anodes, high voltage cathodes, and battery recycling. Experience with synchrotron is a plus. The postdoctoral scholar will be expected to actively participate in a collaborative environment, design independent, hypothesis-driven research projects, successfully carry out the proposed research, and disseminate their findings via peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations.
