Position Description
The group led by Thierry Giamarchi in the Department of Quantum Matter Physics at the University of Geneva invites applications for a PhD position in theory, starting in the fall 2024. The PhD at Unige is for a nominal period of 4 years with possibilities of a fifth year extension. The main topic of interest of the group are: effects of correlations in low-dimensional quantum systems, either in the context of condensed matter or cold atomic gases; combined effects of disorder and interactions, both on classical and quantum systems. More details can be found on the website and in the publications of the group. Any candidate with interest in these themes is welcome to apply.
