Position Description

The Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT invites applications for a one-year junior (or potentially open rank) visiting position in phonology for academic year 2024-2025. Duties will include teaching or co-teaching three courses (one of which may be an advanced seminar in the applicant's area of research), advising student research, and active participation in the intellectual life of the department.

Consideration of applications will begin on February 1, 2024. To ensure full consideration, applications should be received by February 1, 2024. We will, however, consider all applications submitted until the position is filled.
