Position Description
We invite applications for a postdoc position at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in the field of theoretical astroparticle physics with emphasis on neutrino phenomenology, dark matter, axions and related topics. The position will be placed within the group of theoretical astroparticle physics at KIT lead by Thomas Schwetz. A lively research environement is available at KIT, including active groups in theoretical high energy and astroparticle physics (LHC phenomenology, Dark Matter, flavour physics, Higgs physics, QFT) as well as several groups in experimental particle and astroparticle physics (KATRIN, XENON, DARWIN, Pierre Auger, IceCube, CMS, Belle-2). The position is initially offered for two years and can be extended for one more year, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. An applicant should have a PhD degree in a relevant area obtained prior to the start of the position. The position should start in fall 2024. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae including a brief research statement and a publication list. They should also arrange for two or three letters of recommendation.
