Essential Job Duties:
The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Research Scholar position will be to theoretically predict, model, and analyze the properties of new quantum materials. The work will focus on exploring connections between chemical bonding and quantum phases of matter, with the objective of improving design rules for quantum materials development.
The Postdoctoral Research Scholar will be mentored by Dr. Jovanovic and will participate in the weekly group meetings and meet individually with this principal investigator at least once per week when the travel schedule allows. The Postdoc will write journal articles under the principal investigator’s supervision and attend at least one academic conference during their time in the group.
