Position Description

The Division of Innate Immunity and the Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School invite applications for a Tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor Level. Rank will be commensurate with ability and experience. The position will be highly competitive with regard to start-up funds, laboratory space, and salary. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative, externally funded research program. We are seeking individuals with a PhD and/or MD with research interests in any aspect of Innate Immunity or Immunology more broadly to complement a growing research program, including that of Drs. Current faculty interests include, but are not limited to, innate immune sensors and associated signaling pathways (TLRs, nucleic acid sensors, and inflammasomes); dendritic cell biology; immunity to pathogens; autoinflammatory and autoimmune diseases and tumor immunobiology. We are particularly interested in candidates employing novel computational approaches as a major component of their research. Selection will be based on excellence in research and the potential to maintain an outstanding research program.
