A post-doctoral training position is immediately available in the Duke Center for Neurodegeneration and Neurotherapeutics to investigate neuroinflammation pathways, and experimental therapeutics, related to dementia phenotypes in Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Qualified candidates will have earned a PhD in biomedical research, and align with training goals that help prepare for a leadership career in academia or industry in related fields.

Dr. Andrew West will serve as the training mentor for this position, and has overseen the successful transition of both graduate and post-doctoral level trainees to establish independent laboratories and research teams in the most prestigious institutions across the United States. SALARY: $60k+ (Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with training)
