Position Description

Associate in Research –  Nightingale Ultrasonic Elasticity Imaging Lab- June 2024

The Nightingale lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University invites applications for an Associate in Research position.  Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, with experience in biomedical instrumentation and design, medical imaging system calibration and computer programming.  This position requires excellent organizational skills and prior laboratory experience.    The job will entail supporting all aspects of the research being performed in the Nightingale lab.  Responsibilities will include: 

  1. Supporting data acquisition during research studies
  2. Performing acoustic output characterization experiments
  3. Performing data acquisition, processing, and analysis of the SWEI data
  4. Providing general assistance and input into other ongoing studies in the Nightingale lab
