The Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University is seeking applications for an Associate in Research with the Hare Group at Duke University.

Your duties will include managing the PhyloPsy.org website (including site maintenance in coordination with the site developer, recruitment of new members, responses to queries regarding the use of the site and all other tasks involving the use of the site as a collaborative tool); coordination of the collaboration between members of the Hare group, Duke and other phylopsy researchers we are working with; including planning the studies, supervising data collection, liaison between our group and staff of other research groups; participating in/overseeing comparative research at the Duke Canine Cognition Center and Lemur Centers; coordinating undergraduate and graduate research; overseeing research with animals at other research sites (possibly including wolves); overseeing people’s perceptions and attitudes towards animals and other groups of people; monitoring ethics approvals and updating protocols; ordering lab equipment and maintaining database and lab organization; help with arrangements for travel, conferences, and lab meetings; working with department management in organizing receipts for lab expenditures; edit research papers and help format references; and help with other tasks as needed.
