The International Institute for Sustainability with Knotted Chiral Meta Matter (SKCM

World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI), our mission at SKCM
2 develops a new interdisciplinary research paradigm known as "knotted chiral meta matter", as well as provides interdisciplinary training and international research and education experiences to students and postdoctoral fellows.
About the Role
Our Supporting Office Staff supports postdocs and graduate students from all over the world, which includes their budget management, personnel administration, dissemination of their research outcomes, and assistance with organizing summer/winter schools and international scientific symposia. The Support Office Staff will also support research exchange among PIs and co-PIs in different institutes such as Tokyo Tech, MIT, RIKEN, Cambridge University, and CU-Boulder, besides Hiroshima University.
Competitive salaries are provided according to the grant-based budget items, while also complying with Hiroshima University’s pay regulations. Besides the regular wages, SKCM2 will allocate bonuses according to the significance of staff members' contributions to the WPI project.
As a WPI research center, SKCM2 intends to establish a stimulating international research environment where about 20% of Supporting Office Staff are non-Japanese, with extensive experiences of working in academic administration settings outside Japan or graduates from foreign Universities or/and with a track record of providing administrative support in setting similar to that of our WPI. Experience and/or education background in project management or administrative works
