Position Description
Experimental Quantum Information, using Quantum optics / Atomic Physics / Integrated Photonics Post-doctoral fellowship at the Physics Institute - University of São Paulo (Brazil) From July/15/2024 to August/15/2024, we are accepting applications for post-doctoral fellowship, starting after September/01/2024. We work on the use of quantum optics, atomic physics and integrated photonics to quantum information, dealing mostly with problems involving entanglement with continuous variables of the field. A good overview of our recent works and projects can be seen in the PI ORCID (https://orcid.org/my-orcid?orcid=0000-0002-6504-7040). Our lab integrates the National Institute on Quantum Information, and keeps partnerships with other laboratories in US and EU. We are looking for motivated researchers that can lead projects and supervise students involved in our research subjects. Previous experience in any of the fields is highly recommended. The fellowship covers 1 year, renewable for up to 4 years, in the value of R$ 9,318.90/month (US$ 1,690,00), tax exempt. There is also a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which can be used by the researcher for participation in conferences.
