The Program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School is seeking an outstanding individual for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member at the Instructor level.
The position responsibilities will be to conduct research to uncover mechanisms regulating the mammalian hedgehog pathway and the assembly of primary cilia. This will include studies in mammalian cell culture and in mouse models. Additionally, the individual will be required to write manuscripts describing their work and to contribute to the development of research proposals to obtain funding. They will also be responsible for training new members of the laboratory and supervising the daily work of technicians and interns.
