The Taiwan Electron-Ion Collider Physics Project is soliciting applications for two postdoc positions, one in experiment and one in theory. The successful experiment candidate will be integrated into our efforts of developing the EIC ZDC detector, as well as the relevant global analyses of the pion/kaon PDFs and proton TMDs. For the theory position, candidates with expertise in Lattice QCD are particularly encouraged to apply. Applications from young colleagues in other relevant theory disciplines, such as perturbative QCD and effective field theory, with interests in Lattice QCD are also welcome.
The duration of these positions is initially two years, with the possibility of extending into the third year depending on performance. The experiment position will be co-hosted by Academia Sinica and National Central University, and the successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible. The theory position is affiliated with National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University, with the review of applications starting in early November 2024, and the starting date August 2025 with flexibility.
