Position Description
The Gerecht Lab in the department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, supervise, and direct research in stem cell and vascular biology and engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of molecular biology techniques, including genetic modification of stem cells, flow cytometry, and confocal microscopy. The candidate will provide technical expertise to lead in the development of study design, sample or data collection, data analysis, results interpretation, manuscript writing, and grant proposal preparation. This position provides opportunities to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and lead projects or team research initiatives, as well as develop grant applications. The position will include collaborative research with other faculty in Pratt School of Engineering and the School of Medicine at Duke University.- CV
