Position Description:
   

The research group of Professor Yizhi You at Northeastern University-department of Physics invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in quantum information and condensed matter theory.

The successful candidate will conduct theoretical research at the interface of quantum information science, quantum many-body physics and quantum field theory. Topics of interest include but are not limited to, open quantum system, topological matter, NISQ quantum device, quantum dynamics and quantum complexity. The successful candidate would primarily work under the supervision of Prof Yizhi You and be encouraged to work with other faculty members.

A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field is required. Candidates with strong numerical skills on DMRG, tensor-network, QMC are especially encouraged to apply.

The initial appointment will be one year, renewable depending up to three years. The start date of the appointment is flexible (start date ranges between Jan 2025 to July 2025). Compensation for the position is competitive and travel support is available.
