The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Department of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School are excited to invite applications for a Tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. The rank will be determined based on the candidate's ability and experience. This position offers a highly competitive package that includes start-up funds, laboratory space, and an attractive compensation package. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative, externally funded basic / translational research program.

We are seeking individuals with a PhD and/or MD with research interests in any aspect of Cardiovascular Medicine to complement and enhance our growing research program. The individual will be a joining a highly successful Cardiovascular Dvision with over 40 faculty members. This cardiovascular research program includes Dr. David McManus (Chair, Department of Medicine), Dr. Vaikom Mahadevan (Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine), Dr. Chinmay Trivedi (Director of Research), Dr. Kevin Donahue, Dr. Milka Koupenova, Dr. Lara Kovell, and Dr. Khanh-Van Tran, as well as experts in the other 16 departmental divisions, including gastroenterology, rheumatology, innate immunity, oncology, and infectious diseases. Current faculty interests cover a wide range of topics, such as congenital heart and vascular diseases, cardiac conduction anomalies, cardiac valvular diseases, cardiomyopathies, platelet biology, and metabolic diseases. Selection will be based on excellence in basic / translational research and the potential to maintain an outstanding research program.
