- Applicant must have or should expect to receive a PhD in Physics, Astronomy, or related field by the time the fellowship begins
- Applicants who are currently employed as postdocs are eligible
- Appointment is for 3 years
- Salary is $79,000 in the first year
- Research fund of $10,000 per annum
- One-time allowance to assist with the move
- Annual paid time off: 21 days, not including Caltech Holidays
- Annual sick leave: 15 days
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
