Position Description:
   

Yuval Gefen of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel, is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join his group. The tenure is two years, possibly extending to a third year. This dynamic group has extensive international connections, both with theorists and experimentalists. The person to be hired will pursue theoretical work in quantum measurement, quantum steering, state engineering, quantum cooling, and related topics. Previous experience in condensed matter physics is an advantage but not a requirement. The start date is negotiable and can be immediate. Interested candidates should upload a short cover letter (stating a requested starting date), their CV (including a list of publications), and a brief (about half a page) summary of their research interest and motivation. Two reference letters from experts who know the candidate should be uploaded independently by the recommenders.
