The Department of Pharmacology Physiology & Biophysics (https://www.bumc.bu.edu/ppb/) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking to recruit a new faculty member at the Assistant Professor level with an innovative research program on epigenetic mechanisms of substance use disorders. We are looking for a leading expert in the fields of epigenetics, cellular metabolism, and genomic studies of addiction, with a strong emphasis on translational relevance. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in bioinformatics, chromatin biology and cell type-specific molecular investigation of drug-related changes in the brain, and will have a proven track record of innovative research in these areas.
