Job Summary The School of Physics (https://physics.gatech.edu/) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in accelerator or non-accelerator-based experimental or theoretical Neutrino Physics. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. The successful applicant will join a vibrant physics community at Georgia Tech, which includes experimental activity on Neutrino Astrophysics in IceCube, Trinity and P-ONE. Applicants are expected to have received a Doctorate in Physics or a related discipline and are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

Responsibilities Tenure-track academic faculty members teach at all levels and maintain research portfolios that are supported by grants and contracts with federal and state agencies, private foundations, and/or industry. They also contribute to the governance and operation of the School of Physics and of the Institute as a whole. Additionally, they communicate scientific advances through publication and outreach to the scientific community and public at large.

Required Qualifications • Candidates are expected to have received a Doctorate in Physics or a related discipline. • Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students. • Candidates must demonstrate a scientific record advancing the field of Neutrino Physics either experimentally or theoretically. • Successful candidates must demonstrate long term commitment to teaching, scholarship and service to the community.
