The Department of Statistical Science at Duke University is inviting applications for Postdoctoral Associates. These positions will focus on the development and application of novel statistical methods motivated by problems in assessing health effects of environmental contaminants. Candidates for these positions should have obtained, at the time of the position start date, a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a closely related field. A successful track record in statistical theory and methodology development is a prerequisite, and it is desirable to have experience in Bayesian modeling of high-dimensional data with non-linear and/or nonparametric methods, as well as in associated theory and computation.The positions will be supervised by Professors David Dunson (dunson@duke.edu) and Amy Herring (amy.herring@duke.edu), and will start as soon as possible.
