This position is part of project C03 on Bose-Fermi mixtures within the collaborative research center "Isolated quantum systems and universality in extreme conditions" (ISOQUANT).Candidates should have a PhD in theoretical physics or a related discipline, be comfortable working in English, and have demonstrated a creative and independent-minded approach to research.
Knowledge and an interest in the following areas are of advantage:
- Bose-Fermi mixtures at strong coupling
- BCS-BEC crossover in ultracold Fermi gases
- diagrammatic and field theoretic methods
- numerical approaches to dynamics and transport in strongly correlated systems.
