Position Description:

The research group of Nick Bultinck at Ghent University invites applicants for a postdoctoral research position in condensed matter theory. We are seeking candidates whose research interests and expertise align the research topics of the Ghent University CMT group, such as: strongly interacting electron systems (e.g. moire materials), topological phases of matter, numerical simulations of quantum many-body systems (e.g. with tensor network states). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to not only work in the group of Nick Bultinck, but also to closely collaborate with the groups of Frank Verstraete and Jutho Haegeman.

The position is for up to three years. The start date is flexible within the calendar year of 2025.
