Position Description

The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT), created in partnership with Switzerland’s ETH Zurich and EPFL, is seeking candidates for faculty positions starting immediately or on a mutually agreed date thereafter.

Founded in 2022, INSAIT’s mission is to establish itself as a world-class research institution in AI and computer science. In just three years, INSAIT has attracted outstanding international faculty, postdocs, and PhD students of over 20 nationalities. The institute regularly publishes at leading AI-related conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, EMNLP, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, ICLR, and IROS, as well as at top conferences in programming languages, algorithms, and theory, including STOC, FOCS, SODA, and OOPSLA.

INSAIT is structured similarly to top U.S. and European research institutions and offers exceptional working conditions, including world-class facilities, ample computational resources, competitive packages, and atractive salaries.

Tenure-track hires at INSAIT are eligible to participate in the INSAIT-MIT CSAIL Joint Research Program, a unique initiative that allows INSAIT faculty to spend a year at MIT CSAIL, collaborating with MIT researchers on joint cutting-edge projects. Eligibility Requirements

• PhD in computer science or a closely related field by the start date

• Demonstrated ability to pursue a strong and independent research program
