The High Energy Theory group at the University of Florida (UF) invites applications for a postdoctoral research position to start in the Fall of 2025. The appointment is for three years pending available funding. The research interests of the group include beyond Standard Model phenomenology, dark matter, cosmology, and gravitational waves. The UF particle theory group includes Professors Jeff Dror, Rachel Houtz, Pierre Ramond, Pierre Sikivie, Richard Woodard, and Wei Xue. As a group, we host a weekly external seminar series and occasional particle theory workshops.

The incoming postdoc will join the Institute for Fundamental Theory at UF which facilitates discussions with other groups working in theory research in the department. The Physics Department at the University of Florida boasts a number of faculty members working in related fields, including dark matter detection (ADMX, ALPS, SuperCDMS), experimental particle physics (CMS, Belle II, DUNE), gravitational wave detection (LIGO, LISA, NANOGrav), theoretical astrophysics, and condensed matter physics. It also provides access to the world-class HiPerGator research computing center.
