The focus of the research will be on searching for new physics at small/medium scales beyond the standard model of cosmology. The topics of interest for the position are the following: Theoretical and computational cosmology of the large scale structure (LSS) of the Universe aiming at the prediction and interpretation of data to constrain cosmological models, in and beyond the standard model, and structure formation processes. The methods employed could range from: running and post-processing of hydrodynamic/N-body simulations of the LSS; building of realistic mock catalogs of LSS tracers from large to small scales; testing of new theories; machine learning techniques; models of covariance for combination of different cosmological probes; likelihood development and validation for present and future data sets.
