The Division of Physics and Applied Physics of the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites applications for an academic position at the rank of a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational Condensed Matter Physics. 

 We are seeking an individual to investigate realistic microscopic models of quantum spin liquids and other novel phases in frustrated quantum magnets using primarily machine learning algorithms. The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with several experimentalists worldwide with whom the group has active collaborations. The candidate will also have the freedom to pursue independent projects and the opportunity to interact closely with a big and active community of researchers working on various aspects of strongly correlated systems. 

 The position is for two years with the possibility for renewal for a third year. Salary is competitive as per international standards and comes with medical insurance and other benefits. 

 Qualifications: 
 Required: • Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics, or a related field. 
 Preferred: • Previous experience with machine learning algorithms, many body physics.
