Position Description

Particle Physics Theory Group in Osaka University announces an opening for a postdoctoral position funded by JSPS KAKENHI No. 24H02244 "Theoretical research to elucidate the origin of matter and the evolution of the universe".

The position period will be from April 2025 or later to March 2028. The annual gross salary will be about 3,700,000 JPY/year. The research fund will be about 500,000 JPY / year.

Particle Physics Theory Group at Osaka University currently consists of eight faculty members (Hidenori Fukaya, Shinya Kanemura, Tatsuma Nishioka, Tetsuya Onogi, Ryosuke Sato, Minoru Tanaka, Kei Yagyu, Satoshi Yamaguchi), three postdocs, and a number of Ph.D. students. The interests of the group cover a wide range of topics in particle physics phenomenology and particle cosmology, field theory, lattice gauge theory, and string theory.
