Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position in the Fundamental Interactions Group at the Ecole Normale Superieure Physics Department (Laboratoire de Physique de l'Ecole Normale Superieure).
The appointments are for 2+1 years, and in addition to an internationally competitive salary they include an attractive travel allowance. The positions are funded by the grant ERC-CoG-21 "FunBootS". The appointment will take place in September or October 2025. The candidates must hold a doctoral degree before the appointment starts.
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Quantum Field Theory and research interests in Conformal Bootstrap, S-matrix Bootstrap, Holography and related topics. Successful candidates will be integrated into the ERC-funded research group "FunBootS" based at the Ecole Normale Superieure in the heart of Paris. They will benefit from the large, lively theory community in the Paris region, including neighbouring institutions LPTHE Jussieu, IPhT Saclay, CPHT Polytechnique, and the IHES.
