Position title: Lecturer Salary range:​ A reasonable salary range estimate for this position is $68,247-$126,960.

Position description 
The Halicioğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) at UC San Diego is seeking applicants for temporary lecturer position(s) to teach Data Science Undergraduate and Graduate Programs within HDSI during the 2024-25 academic year should needs arise. We seek applicants in all areas related to data science including data analysis, programming, statistics, machine learning, database systems, scalable systems, and visualization. UC San Diego is working on several other new initiatives related to data science and is committed to data science education and research. 

The Data Science Undergraduate and Graduate Programs are committed to building an excellent, diverse, and inclusive faculty, staff and student body. Qualifications 
Basic qualifications (required at time of application) 
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a field related to data science, such as computer science or statistics. A minimum of 5 years industry experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
