Position Description

Applications are invited for a Research Associate to join the Theoretical Physics Section within the Physics of Universe Community in Department of Physics at Imperial College London. We undertake world-leading research in key areas of theoretical physics including string theory, quantum field theory, cosmology, quantum foundations and gravity. 

 

The position is aimed at candidates working in String Theory and Quantum Field Theory, broadly interpreted. You should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Theoretical Physics or a closely related discipline, either awarded or anticipated, or an equivalent level of professional qualifications and experience. You must also be able to demonstrate all the following essential criteria:

This is a fixed-term position for up to 24 months available from 1st October 2025 with a possibility of extension, subject to funding.
