Position Description:

Acıbadem University, founded in 2007 and dedicated to the field of health sciences, is a foundation-supported, non-profit institution of higher education. The Kerem Aydınlar Campus is centrally located on the Asian side of Istanbul, housing more than 100,000 square meters of education and research infrastructure replete with high-technology equipment. Faculty members have access to cutting edge laboratories with equipment for genomics, proteomics, flow cytometry, confocal and electron microscopy, NMR, tissue culture and an accredited animal facility .

The Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences invites applications for full-time faculty positions of open rank. Successful candidates are expected to develop an internationally competitive research program and to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate’s research activities should expand the current research activities of the department into novel fields such as (but not limited to) bioinformatics, genomics, neuroscience, and model organisms. Post-doctoral research experience is required. The medium of instruction is English.
