Position Description
The BCMP Summer Scholars program at Harvard University is designed for motivated undergraduates who are passionate about pursuing graduate studies in molecular and mechanistic biology. This summer internship offers students hands-on laboratory and computational biology research experience, opportunities to interact with faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and other interns. Applicants can be from Harvard or any other college or university and must be authorized to work in the United States. Previous research experience is highly recommended. Admission to the program is based on academic performance, recommendations, and research interests. Selected applicants will be matched with one of the participating laboratories. Students will receive a stipend and work full-time (40 hours per week) on research projects under the guidance of a research scientist. At the end of the program in August, students will present their own research work.
