The Astrophysics & Cosmology group at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) invites applications for several Postdoc positions to start in 2025 (the exact date is flexible). We are looking for highly motivated, outstanding international candidates to join our research group in several areas of research, including (but not limited to) Cosmology and the nature of Dark Matter (V. Desjacques, A. Nusser) X-ray astronomy and the development of gamma-ray-burst detectors (E. Behar) Supernovae, gravitational waves, stellar physics and dynamics, TDEs and planet formation (N. Soker, H. Perets) Active Galactic Nuclei (A. Laor) and star-formation and molecular clouds (S. Bialy). The group is involved in major international space missions such as ULTRASAT, Euclid, XRISM, and ATHENA, as well as granted observation time on JWST (Bialy). Full Technion scholarships are available for successful applicants.
