Position Description
IGNITE STEM Education
As an Associate in Research, the key objectives are to assist with Dr. Ramanujam’s engineering design experience called Ignite. Ignite is a design experience for middle and high school students founded out of the Center for Global Women’s Health. You will learn about the process of human-centered design and help students work towards building solutions to problems in their communities. Fellows will be asked to work with Dr. Megan Madonna on the implementation of the Ignite program. Please expect that up to 20% of your job will be dedicated to attending meetings and preparing material for those meetings.
All members of the Center are expected to create weekly updates in the form of powerpoint presentations, create meeting agendas and record meeting minutes. You will also be expected to identify grant opportunities and directly apply for grants with Dr. Ramanujam. You will be expected to work full-time, 40-hours per week and expected to follow the handbook and all policies of the Center for Global Women’s health technologies.
