Position Description
This position is part of the ALPHA project, an international collaboration dedicated to the search for dark matter axions (https://axion-dm.yale.edu/alpha-experiment). The ALPHA collaboration brings together institutions and universities from around the world, with Stockholm University playing a key role in the effort. The project focuses on conducting axion search experiments using a technique known as the plasma haloscope, which utilizes conducting wire arrays. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of novel cavity designs, cryogenic microwave photon detection systems, and data analysis.
