Position Description

The Candidate is expected to conduct high-level scientific research within the scope of the research topics pursued by the Department to which they are applying (a list of Departments is available here: https://if.uj.edu.pl/en_GB/instytut/struktura). In justified cases, research may also be carried out at foreign institutions.

The Candidate should demonstrate strong initiative in securing external research funding and actively contribute to the scientific community, particularly through presentations at conferences and symposia.

As teaching is a fundamental part of university life, the Candidate is also expected to consistently strive to improve the quality of instruction and to integrate teaching with the latest research developments.

 Required application documents:

• motivation letter
• CV
• information on the Candidate’s scientific, teaching and organizational achievements
• information concerning educational activities carried out by the Candidate,
• publication list
• personal data form for the person applying for employment
• copy of the doctoral diploma or a diploma confirming the Candidate’s habilitation degree, if applicable
• doctoral dissertation reviews or habilitation dissertation reviews, if applicable
• declaration of the Candidate, confirming that the Jagiellonian University will be their primary place of work
• statement under Article 113 of the Law on higher education and science
• statement on acknowledging and accepting the rules and regulations concerning intellectual property management and commercialization in force at the Jagiellonian University
• last evaluation form for academic teachers, if applicable
