Position Description

The Department of Statistical Science is inviting applications for an Associate in Research. The Associate will conduct research in the problem of sound source localization based on microphone arrays including in the context of identifying the locations of birds based on their vocalizations. He will be helping develop and test initial methods for identifying the exact time and location of each vocalizing bird based on our novel microphone and interpretable AI methodology.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
