CCAPP has significant efforts in theoretical, observational, and experimental astrophysics. Current research areas include dark energy, large-scale structure, cosmic microwave background, gravitational lensing, dark matter, galaxy formation and evolution, Galactic dynamics and substructure, cosmic rays, gamma rays, neutrinos, nucleosynthesis, stellar physics, supernovae, gamma-ray bursts, and active galactic nuclei. CCAPP has affiliations with the Dark Energy Survey (DES), Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (formerly WFIRST), Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA), Payload for Ultrahigh Energy Observations (PUEO), Askaryan Radio Array (ARA), IceCube/IceCube-Gen2, and the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN). CCAPP Fellow appointments will be for three-year terms. In addition to competitive salaries ($66k/year and a low cost of living), these positions come with $10k/year research budgets and a $3k relocation funds.
