Position Description
Duke University is seeking applicants for an Adjunct Assistant Professor in its Master's in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) program. This is a non-regular rank faculty position to begin January 1, 2026, and finish December 31, 2026. This position is expected to teach courses on financial markets and trading within the Quantitative Finance Concentration (QFC) at MIDS. Successful candidates should have a Ph.D. in math, financial engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, as well as 5+ years of financial industry experience developing quantitative trading models and algorithms, particularly in crypto markets and cryptocurrencies.
