Position Description

The Texas A&M High Energy Theory group in the Mitchell Institute invites applications for a postdoctoral position with anticipated start date of September 1, 2026.  The successful candidate will work in the areas of classical and quantum gravity, supersymmetry, supergravity and superstring theory.  The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with Texas A&M faculty members with overlapping research interests, as well as with postdocs, graduate, and undergraduate students.  The position includes funding to support travel. 

The initial appointment will be for two years, with the possibility of extension for one additional year subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funding, and mutual agreement.  The position also includes competitive benefits through Texas A&M, see https://employees.tamu.edu/benefits for details.
