The Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Astrophysics Group in the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in particle physics, nuclear physics, and cosmology. Tsinghua University is one of the most prestigious universities in China and consistently ranks among the top institutions globally in the U.S. News & World Report and QS World University Rankings. The particle, nuclear, and astrophysics group currently includes Haipeng An and Zhong-Zhi Xianyu (particle theory and cosmology); Xin Chen and Zhen Hu (collider experiments); Shuzhe Shi, Zhe Xu, and Bingsong Zou (theory of quarks, nucleons, and nuclei); Zhigang Xiao and Zhihong Ye (nuclear physics experiments); Fei Gao (astroparticle physics); and Xiaofeng Wang and Yi Yang (supernova physics). Group members participate in several large-scale international collaborations, including ATLAS, CMS, FASER, RHIC, and XENONnT. Faculty members in the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University are expected to conduct independent, forefront research and supervise both Ph.D. and undergraduate students. The positions are open to researchers of all nationalities and offer an internationally competitive salary, housing subsidy, and start-up funds.
