Position Description

Postdoctoral research positions are available in the group of Michael Vogl at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Candidates with expertise in strongly correlated electron systems, quantum magnetism, and emergent non-equilibrium phases of matter, quantum information and related fields are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will join the research environment at KFUPM in a newly established center focusing on Quantum Condensed Matter Physics and Quantum Computing (Interdisciplinary Research Center for Advanced Quantum Computing, AQC). This center is headed by famous theorist Daniel Loss

Qualifications: PhD in Physics (completed within the last 5 years or near completion); strong background in theoretical condensed matter physics; experience with analytical many-body methods, field theory, and/or numerical techniques is a plus.
