Position Description

The Quantum Condensed Matter Theory group at BU anticipates awarding a postdoctoral associate position under the supervision of Professor Dries Sels. The position will broadly involve the study of non-equilibrium many-body physics. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in quantum information theory, quantum control and/or advanced numerical methods to simulate non-equilibrium quantum systems. Candidates are encouraged to collaborate with other members of the condensed matter theory group as well as pursue independent research projects.

Appointments are usually for two years, with a possibility of renewal subject to performance and continued funding. The annual base salary range for this position is $67,500 - $75,000.
