Position Description

Duke University's Fuqua School of Business invites applications for a postdoctoral associate expected to begin July 1, 2026 for applicants whose research interests include team science, interdisciplinary collaboration, and group dynamics. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in field experiments, survey methods, or quantitative data analysis. The postdoc will contribute to a new research project that seeks to better understand the assembly, processes, and outcomes of clinical and translational science teams.

The Fuqua School of Business provides an outstanding environment for research, and topics related to teams and collaboration are studied across Duke University. The postdoctoral associate will be expected to contribute to the intellectual environment of the Fuqua School of Business. He or she would work closely with Professor Jonathon Cummings and collaborators in the School of Medicine and other departments on campus. This is a one-year position renewable up to three years based upon performance and continued funding.

Successful candidates must have completed requirements for the Ph.D. degree by July 1, 2026. The postdoctoral associate position is exclusively for recent Ph.D. graduates. Eligible candidates need not have previously held a faculty or postdoctoral position.
