Position Description
Postdoctoral Associate Position Available
Under the general supervision of Dr. Junjie Yao, the Postdoctoral Associate will lead the development and optimization of next-generation photoacoustic tomography (PAT) systems, focusing on high-sensitivity ultrasonic detection and high-speed data acquisition for awake brain imaging. Key duties include designing efficient light illumination schemes, implementing super-resolution PAT algorithms, and performing precise image reconstructions to study functional brain activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing independent research sub-projects, collaborating with the broader life science and medical communities to apply PAT systems to clinical needs (e.g., tumor angiogenesis and brain disorders), and assisting in the supervision of graduate students within the PI-Lab.
