Position Description
WORK PERFORMING: Support ongoing sponsored research projects in physical AI, embedded and IoT systems, and intelligent sensing systems, including real-time system development, hardware/software integration, experimental validation, prototype implementation, and performance evaluation across edge computing and multi-modal sensing platforms. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with training in embedded systems, AI/machine learning, edge computing, wireless systems, or intelligent/multimodal sensing technologies. EXPERIENCE: Experience in developing and integrating real-time embedded and edge computing systems, implementing AI/machine learning workflows on hardware platforms, conducting experimental validation, and supporting interdisciplinary research and prototype development in hardware/software environments. SKILLS: Strong interdisciplinary skills in AI/machine learning, embedded systems, edge computing, multi-modal sensing, hardware/software co-design, real-time system integration, debugging, experimental evaluation, and collaborative research development.
