The Gerecht Lab (https://gerechtlab.duke.edu) is looking for a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct applied research and development in the area of tissue engineering, materials sciences, and stem cell biology. The majority of the candidate’s focus will be on developing and using biomaterials to guide cell fate and regeneration from stem cells. This work will be completed as part of our multidisciplinary team studying the interactions between cells and their microenvironments with the long-term goal of understanding how the microenvironment guides differentiation, migration, morphogenesis, homeostasis, repair, and function toward controlling these processes in healthy and diseased tissues in regenerative medicine and cancer. This position is available starting June 1, 2023 with a 1-year term and an opportunity for additional annual renewal contingent on performance and funding availability.
